Ashley Miles is Chief Client Officer, Head of Advertising, NA at Refinery29, the leading media and entertainment company for young women, where she oversees ad sales strategy, growth and development; marketing solutions; and client services. Since joining the company over 5 years ago, Miles 13+ years of experience in digital marketing and advertising has helped to exponentially scale Refinery29 and drive revenue growth to a nine-figure business, including the launch and expansion of 29Rooms, the company’s most expansive offline activation.
Under Ashley’s leadership, Refinery29 has scaled it’s portfolio from Fashion and Luxury, to Beauty, Retail, Auto, Consumer Electronics, CPG, Spirits, Travel, Entertainment, Financial Services, Pharmaceuticals, Home and DTC new business, while growing it’s advertising team significantly, resulting in a forward-thinking, creative team of brand and agency strategists across all of North America. With a focus on developing talent, Ashley has built and evolved the advertising team into a talented force that blends the best client service experience with the most cutting edge, original ideas that drive real business impact for brands and agencies.
Prior to Refinery29, Miles served as Regional Vice President at Brand.net, an ad technology company, where she helped build its advertising sales force, ran operations, scaled revenue across Fortune 100 advertisers and saw through its acquisition by Valassis. Previously, she served as Executive Sales Director, Beauty at InStyle.com, where she piloted their growth in the Beauty category and opened up new lines of business with a number of mass and prestige Beauty brands.
