Shelley Zalis, CEO of The Female Quotient and the creator of The Girls’ Lounge, is having none of that. To her, embracing our feminine characteristics is exactly what will make women stand out everywhere we want to succeed. But what it will take for workplaces to truly agree — and benefit from gender equality? Zalis, who founded the Hollywood research firm OTX before selling it to Ipsos in 2010 for about $80 million, shares her thoughts from inside and outside the corporate boardroom.
