Dustee Jenkins Dustee Tucker Jenkins is a seasoned leader with almost two decades of experience in communications, media relations, executive positioning, government affairs, community relations and reputation management. She currently serves as the Global Head of Communications for Spotify, the world’s most popular audio streaming service. In this position, she leads all external communications, public affairs, media relations as well as enterprise-wide internal communications across 178 markets. Since joining Spotify, Dustee has played a key role in shepherding the company’s public listing on the NYSE, launching the brand’s external facing content hub, For The Record, managing high profile reputation-based issues and building a reimaged internal communications strategy for employees around the globe.

Prior to joining Spotify, Ms. Jenkins was Senior Vice President and Chief Communications Officer at Target. Under her leadership, Dustee established a new organizational structure and operational expectations, enabling her team to deliver campaigns touted nationwide for their tremendous global buzz, including designer collaborations such as Missoni and Lilly Pulitzer as well as the launch of the multi-billion dollar owned brand, Cat & Jack.

Ms. Jenkins led the company through multiple high-profile challenges such as its successful proxy fight against an aggressive, media savvy activist, a heavily publicized data breach (one of the most widely covered corporate crises of all time), exit from Canada, corporate restructure and global reduction in workforce. Additionally, she guided the rollout of Target’s first outside CEO and a multi-billion dollar transition of its pharmacy business to CVS.

Prior to joining Target, Ms. Jenkins was a director at Public Strategies, Inc. (now Hill+Knowlton Strategies) specializing in crisis and financial transactions, where she managed issues such as high-profile bankruptcies, insider trading, executive shake ups, and an initial public offering. She also served as the director of communications of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, as an appointee of President George W. Bush. Prior to that, she was Press Secretary for U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison.
