NANCY REYES

CEO of the Americas, BBDO

Nancy Reyes is a 25-year veteran of the Advertising & Marketing Industry. She is currently the CEO of the Americas for BBDO.  During the course of her career Nancy has specialized in partnering with dozens of companies to develop their brands, create meaningful relationships with their consumers/customers and ultimately drive a more purposeful and profitable future. Nancy’s experience spans a wide range of industries such as hospitality and travel, technology, healthcare, consumer goods, automotive,  and financial services. Throughout her career Nancy has devoted her attention to pushing a robust Diversity, Equity and Inclusion agenda in the marketing industry. In 2018, she founded a program called Circle of Women which provides executive coaching to women on the cusp of leadership to build a pipeline of future female leaders. She is a founding member of Times UP and is in her fifth year of establishing a summer internship program for aspiring advertising young people of color. Nancy is on the board of Prep for Prep, Creative Ladder and the Ad Club of NY.

RUTH JURGENSEN

Chief Executive Officer, Prep for Prep

Ruth is a passionate education and nonprofit leader. Prior to joining Prep for Prep as CEO in July 2020, Ruth was Associate Principal at Francis W. Parker School in Chicago, overseeing educational programs and operations, and before that, High School Principal at LREI (Little Red School House and Elisabeth Irwin High School), an independent, progressive school in New York City’s Greenwich Village. Ruth earned her undergraduate degree in English Literature from Connecticut College and has a master’s degree in English and American Literature from Brown University. She founded the Administrators of Color in Independent Schools Conference and serves as a trustee on the boards of the Brooklyn Museum, Moorestown Friends School, and Kura Labs (a nonprofit that offers free training and a job placement academy for students from underserved communities interested in Infrastructure Computing, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering). Past service includes LREI and The Dovetail Project (a nonprofit that helps young African-American and Hispanic men with fatherhood).
