WHY VOLUNTEER?

Volunteers are the glue to associations and NYWICI is no different.  Volunteering is a great way to give back, make a difference, and connect with your peers to build your résumé, to make a positive impact in the communication field, to meet people, and to have fun.  We have volunteer opportunities that may be for your specific skill set – writing, photography, editing, etc. NYWICI has volunteer opportunities from short-term volunteer projects to longer term – committee and board service.  For more on the NYWICI committees, please click here.  Through these volunteer opportunities, you will be able to influence women in communications and move NYWICI forward.  If you are interested in serving as a volunteer, please fill out the following form. WHO CAN VOLUNTEER?

NYWICI’s volunteer opportunities are open to all current NYWICI members. Most volunteer opportunities require no previous volunteering experience. Whether you are an emerging professional or seasoned communication professional with many years of experience, we invite you to contribute your time and talents to NYWICI.
