University Membership Program

We are seeking a select number of schools to join the NYWICI University Membership Program as Founding Members. Founding Members will receive:

  • Special recognition during the NYWICI Matrix Awards ceremony in May 2024
  • One complimentary ticket to the Matrix Awards
  • One student press credential for the Matrix Awards

  • Fee – $1,500 annually
  • All College/University staff will be eligible for complimentary NYWICI membership while they are employed with the College/University.
  • Membership includes access to NYWICI events at the member rate, networking opportunities, workshops, volunteer opportunities, and other benefits as outlined on the NYWICI website. This also includes free access to our monthly virtual speaker series, Next Level You.
  • Students can sign up individually and receive complimentary membership until age 26.  If the College/University prefers a student list can be provided with emails, and NYWICI can reach out as an introduction.  Alternatively, NYWICI can also provide email copy that the College/University to be used in messaging students.
  • If desired, NYWICI and College/University members may co-create two programs per year to be hosted virtually or /in person exclusively for school’s students. This can include experiential opportunities with NYWICI board members and other industry leaders as guest speakers for classes.
  • Access to experiential opportunities with NYWICI board members and other industry leaders and notables as guest speakers for classes.
  • Members also receive access to resources related to the NYWICI’s annual  scholarship program.

College/University Expectations:

  • Promotion of NYWICI on College/University Website: The College/University will display the NYWICI logo and a brief description of NYWICI’s mission on the College/University ‘s official website. The logo and description will be linked to the NYWICI membership page.
  • Social Media Promotion: The College/University will create at least two social media posts per semester on its official social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok) promoting NYWICI and encouraging its staff and students to join NYWICI as members. (NYWICI Team to provide assets if University cannot create)
  • Email Campaigns: The College/University will include information about NYWICI and the benefits of membership in at least one email newsletter sent to its staff and students each semester. NYWICI to build out email template.
  • On-Campus Promotion: The College/University will display NYWICI promotional materials, such as posters or flyers, in high-traffic areas on campus, including bulletin boards, student centers, and administrative offices.
  • Participation in NYWICI Events: The College/University representatives may attend and participate in NYWICI events as guest speakers, panelists, or workshop facilitators, as mutually agreed upon by both parties.
