Carla Serrano

Chief Strategy Officer, Publicis Groupe

Carla Serrano is the Chief Strategy Officer of Publicis Groupe, CEO of Leo NY and President of  Le Truc — a next-generation center of creative excellence designed to fuel the Groupe’s  creative offering. A member of Publicis Groupe’s Executive Committee and Global Management  Committee, she plays a central role in shaping Publicis’ transformation, aligning strategy and  creativity to drive growth and futureproof the global business. 

Carla began her advertising career at Chiat/Day Toronto working with iconic brands such as  Apple and Nissan. Since then, she has held senior roles across leading creative networks,  including President of Berlin Cameron United, Chief Strategy Officer of TBWA Chiat/Day, and  CEO of Naked Communications. Across these roles, she has worked with world-class brands  across multiple industries such as Financial, Telco, CPG, Spirits, Automotive and more. 

Beyond her executive roles, Carla is a passionate advocate for talent development and  inclusion, championing initiatives that nurture the next generation of leaders broadening impact  and progress within and beyond the industry. She sits on the Publicis Groupe Impact Council  and mentors through the 4A’s Vanguard Program and Adweek’s Executive Mentor Program.  Carla also served on the Effie Worldwide Board of Directors and mentors in its Global Marketing  Effectiveness Bootcamp. 

Carla’s leadership has been recognized with some of the industry’s most distinguished  accolades, including the ADCOLOR Legend Award, the Ad Club Icon Award, and inclusion on  Gold House’s A100 list of influential Asian Pacific leaders. She has also appeared on Adweek  50, Ad Age’s Women to Watch, and Crain’s Most Powerful Women in New York.

Arthur Sadoun

Chairman & CEO, Publicis Groupe

Arthur Sadoun, a graduate of the European Business School and holder of an MBA from INSEAD, the European Institute of Business Administration, started his career at the age of 21, creating his own advertising agency in Chile that he would later sell to BBDO. 

He joined the TBWA network (Omnicom) in 1997 and was appointed CEO of TBWA/Paris in 2003. 

In 2006, he joined Publicis Groupe as CEO of Publicis Conseil, the Groupe’s flagship founded by Marcel Bleustein-Blanchet. He was appointed Chairman of Publicis France in 2009 then promoted to CEO of the Publicis Worldwide network in 2013. In 2015, he was appointed CEO of Publicis Communications, the creative solutions arm of Publicis Groupe. 

On June 1, 2017, he was appointed Chairman of the Management Board of Publicis Groupe SA. On May 29, 2024, Arthur Sadoun was named Chairman of the Board and CEO.

Arthur Sadoun was made a Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite in 2014 and named “Director of the Year” by Advertising Age in 2016. He was made a Chevalier de la Légion d’honneur in 2021.
