Annie Lohmeyer Riva is a Corporate Affairs strategist with more than a decade of experience positioning organizations, influencing stakeholders, and designing teams to enhance and protect organizations’ reputations.
As a Principal in Korn Ferry’s Corporate Affairs Center of Expertise, Annie provides counsel to clients regarding the design and leadership of their Communications and Public Affairs functions. Annie has successfully partnered with global clients across industries on high-profile search assignments, including top Corporate Affairs roles for PepsiCo, Goldman Sachs, McDonald’s, Genentech, Eli Lilly, Paramount, The Schultz Family Foundation and Underwriters Laboratories.
Annie joined Korn Ferry as a corporate affairs and communications practitioner. Most recently, she was the Head of Communications for global education technology company Teachers Pay Teachers, where she oversaw media relations, executive communications, internal communications, crisis communications, public affairs, and brand partnerships.
Previously, Annie was a Director of Communications at WeWork, where she led enterprise and partnership communications, including campaigns with 2U, American Express, UBS, Slack, Zoom, and Salesforce.
Annie began her career at communications and public affairs consultancies Brunswick Group and Ketchum in New York and Washington, DC, where she advised clients on corporate reputation; public affairs, diversity, equity and inclusion; corporate social responsibility; and crisis management. Annie’s clients included Meta, Nike, PwC, Walgreens, Cigna, Anheuser-Busch InBev, Restaurant Brands International, Barrick Gold, and the KIPP Foundation.
Annie is a graduate of Penn State University with a bachelor’s degree in communications, with minors in Business and Political Science.
