Happy Galentine’s Day ladies! Galentine’s Day is a time to celebrate the amazing women in our lives—the friends who uplift, inspire, and support us. While many choose to celebrate it on February 13th, there are no strict ways on how or when to celebrate. The beauty behind the holiday lies in being able to show love and appreciation for the women in your life during the Valentine’s Day season, most notably your best girlfriends. Female empowerment is undoubtedly important, and showing appreciation for your best friends isn’t a holiday that we have had yet. This holiday symbolizes what we can do in our private lives to emphasize and treasure these moments with each other.
The holiday was famously created by the TV show Parks and Recreation and has taken social media by storm, including parties and events tailored to it.
A quick scroll through TikTok or Instagram with the hashtags #Galentines or #GalentinesDay reveals cute ideas such as spa days and brunches to celebrate our fellow ladies.
