New York Women In Communications Announces 2021-2022 Board Of Directors

NEW YORK – October 15, 2021 — New York Women in Communications (NYWICI), the premier organization for female communications professionals, announced today the addition of seven new members to its 2021-2022 Board of Directors, as well as incoming President Dustee Jenkins, Head of Global Communications and Public Relations, Spotify. New board members join from top organizations including BET, The Atlantic, Forbes, BDG, Camron PR, and Spotify.

As NYWICI’s new President, Jenkins brings almost two decades of experience in communications, media relations, executive positioning, government affairs, community relations and reputation management. Prior to joining Spotify, Jenkins was Senior Vice President and Chief Communications Officer at Target.

The announcement of the 2021-2022 Board of Directors immediately precedes NYWICI’s 2021 Matrix Awards, which take place on October 18, 2021 at 12pm ET. This year marks the 51st anniversary of the Matrix Awards, and it will be taking place virtually with emcee Hallie Jackson, NBC News Senior Washington Correspondent and Host of MSNBC’s “Hallie Jackson Reports.” 

NYWICI is opening access to this event for anyone who would like to attend but asking attendees to donate to the organization when they register. Donations from the Matrix Awards go to support NYWICI operations as well as a full range of scholarships and educational programs for women. To date, NYWICI has given more than $1.7 million in scholarships.
