New York Women In Communications Announces 2024 Board Of Directors Including Laura Brusca of Forbes as Incoming President
NEW YORK – December 1, 2023 — New York Women in Communications (NYWICI), the premier organization for female communications professionals, announced today the addition of five new members to its 2024 Board of Directors, as well as incoming President Laura Brusca, Chief Communications Officer, Forbes. New board members join from top organizations including Spotify, Nexstar, Uber, and Omnicom Group.
As NYWICI’s new President, Laura Brusca is an accomplished and award-winning communications executive whose influence helps shape the modern-day narrative at one of the world’s most-storied media brands, Forbes. She brings to NYWICI more than fifteen years of significant corporate communications and reputation management experience, gleaned from in-house and agency roles, where she worked with established global brands. Throughout her career, she has steered brands in challenged industries, helping to position them in highly competitive environments and driving employee passion and pride. She is a trusted advisor who has helped redefine companies and organizations during transformative times. She has served on the NYWICI Board since 2019 in a variety of roles – from Co-Vice President (VP) of Student Affairs to VP of Communications and Chief Strategy Officer.
