New York Women In Communications Announces 2026 Board Of Directors Including Beth Feldman, SVP of Communications for Nexstar Media Group as Incoming President
NEW YORK – November 14, 2025 — New York Women in Communications (NYWICI), the premier organization for female communications professionals, announced yesterday the addition of four new members to its 2026 Board of Directors, as well as incoming President Beth Feldman SVP Communications, Nexstar Media Group/Networks. Board members are from top organizations including MasterCard, UTA, Korn Ferry, Uber, TelevisaUnivision, and Omnicom Group.
Beth Feldman is Senior Vice President of Communications for The CW Network and Nexstar Media Group’s Networks Division, where she leads internal and external communications and oversees publicity for both corporate, entertainment and sports programming across The CW and the company’s portfolio of national networks.
Since joining Nexstar in 2022, Feldman has played a key role in elevating the visibility of The CW’s rapidly expanding slate—which now includes more than 500 hours of live sports—and in driving brand and talent storytelling initiatives across NewsNation’s fast-growing cable news platform.
With nearly three decades of communications experience, Feldman has developed and executed award-winning publicity and digital media campaigns for television networks, studios, and consumer brands. Prior to Nexstar, she spent 15 years as a partner at Beyond PR Group, leading innovative influencer and digital campaigns for dozens of national series and talk shows. Earlier in her career, she served as Vice President, CBS Communications Group, where she helped launch and promote Emmy Award-winning series including CSI, The Amazing Race, and Everybody Loves Raymond.
“It’s an incredible honor to step into the role of President of New York Women in Communications at a time when our industry—and the women within it—are undergoing such powerful transformation,” said Beth Feldman. “Our newly appointed executive board represents a dynamic force of trailblazers who embody the spirit of the Butterfly Effect—proving that one idea, one connection, and one act of mentorship can spark meaningful change across generations. Together, we’re not only celebrating nearly 100 years of NYWICI’s legacy, but also creating the future of communications by empowering women to rise, lead, and lift others along the way.”
“Taking the helm of this amazing organization is a tremendous honor, and under the visionary leadership of incoming President Beth Feldman NYWICI embarks upon an exciting new chapter,” said Brandi Boatner, President of NYWICI and Global Influencer Marketing at IBM. Our foundation is strong, built on decades of fierce advocacy and mentorship. The incoming 2026 Board of Directors inherits a powerful legacy of empowering professional women and shaping the future of our industry. I am proud and thrilled to pass the baton knowing this Board will accelerate the momentum and progress of 2025, driving forward innovative programs that will define the next generation of communicators.
“As Past President, I had the honor of leading the Nominating Committee to build our 2026 Board. At NYWICI, our goal is to help women in our industry grow, learn, overcome challenges and succeed,” said Laura Brusca, Past President, NYWICI and Chief Communications Officer at Forbes. “In 2025, I’m so proud of what we achieved – we offered 17 scholarships to young deserving women, grew our mentorship program to include 125+ participants, and hosted 20 events with 1,400+ attendees. As we look to 2026, we’ve put a strong volunteer board in place of 27 leaders, and under Beth Feldman’s strategic direction, we will continue our mission of empowering women and create more opportunities for women in communications.”
