The 2018 Student Career Conference took place on Saturday, November 10 at NYU Kimmel Center.
Each year, the New York Women in Communications hosts a day-long conference, featuring over 30 communications professionals speaking on 10 different topics. Hundreds of students attend to get career tips on various aspects in the communication fields, ranging from entrepreneurship to marketing to scholarships and financial wellness.

Spending the day at the New York Women in Communications Student Career Conference, I was able to acquire an abundance of new skills, as well as improve the ones I entered with. Upon walking into the room, I was among girls who were high school and college students like myself doing all in their power to achieve their goals, and well-established professionals who were open and willing to share their knowledge.
