President of Advertising Sales and Marketing at TelevisaUnivision

As President of U.S. Advertising Sales and Marketing at TelevisaUnivision, the world’s leading Spanish-language media and content company, Donna Speciale leads advertising sales and marketing across the company’s portfolio of broadcast, cable, digital, audio and live event platforms in the U.S. – including its renowned entertainment, news and sports properties as well as its ad-supported streaming service, ViX.

Since joining the company in January 2021, Speciale has transformed and modernized TelevisaUnivision’s U.S. ad sales business to deliver record ad revenue growth. An industry trailblazer, Speciale has propelled the world’s leading brands and agencies to embrace the growth potential of U.S. Hispanic consumers. She has shepherded several initiatives that have enhanced the company’s suite of capabilities for marketers to reach and engage U.S. Hispanics – including new advanced advertising products and cross-platform partnerships, a new Spanish-language branded content studio and the launch of the industry’s first-ever Hispanic household data graph. Under Speciale’s leadership, TelevisaUnivision has welcomed over 200 new clients to its roster of advertisers in the U.S.

Speciale has extensive knowledge of sales optimization spanning over two decades. Prior to this role, she served as President of Advertising Sales at WarnerMedia where she oversaw advertising revenue for the company’s domestic entertainment, news and kids multimedia brands. During her tenure, Speciale played a critical role in the groundbreaking launch of OpenAP, the first open platform for TV advertisers to reach audiences across publishers. Before WarnerMedia, she was President of Investment, Activation and Agency operations at MediaVest Worldwide, overseeing the agency’s integrated digital, broadcast, print and out-of-home practice. Speciale also held senior roles at WPP’s Mediacom earlier in her career.

Speciale has been recognized with numerous accolades throughout her career, including Multichannel News’ “Wonder Women,” Adweek50, Variety’s “New York Impact Report” and Broadcasting & Cable’s Hall of Fame as well as the “Advertising Woman of the Year,” “Impact Award” and “Working Woman Award” from SheRunsIt. She received the “Reisenbach Award for Distinguished Citizenship” by the John A. Reisenbach Foundation in 2014.

Speciale currently serves on the Board of Directors for National CineMedia and is a member of PTTOW! and the Video Advertising Bureau (VAB). She is also a corporate supporter and active member of She Runs It, as well as an advisor for Home From College and The Forem. Speciale holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Bryant University.

STEVEN WOLFE PEREIRA

Steven Wolfe Pereira is the Chief Business Officer of 3Pas Studios, the global multiplatform entertainment company co-founded by the biggest Latino actor in the world Eugenio Derbez and his award-winning producing partner Ben Odell. With its focus on comedy and family-friendly entertainment, 3Pas stories are experienced by fans around the world through film, television, and audio in both English and Spanish. 3Pas is headquartered in Los Angeles with hubs in Mexico City and Miami.  He oversees all revenue, marketing, finance, and operations for the company.

Mr. Wolfe Pereira is also the Co-Founder and Chairman of Encantos PBC, the award-winning children’s entertainment company. Named by Fast Company as one of the World’s Most Innovative Companies, Encantos focuses on diverse stories and characters and brings them to life through apps, books, content, consumer products, and more. Its properties include the #1 bilingual preschool brand Canticos, the award-winning Tiny Travelers series, and the newly launched Skeletina. Under his leadership, Encantos was named one of the top 100 startups by Business Insider and was recently named to Apple’s prestigious Entrepreneur Camp.

He is an accomplished executive with more than 25 years of experience in media, technology, and financial services. Named by Adweek as one of the “50 Most Indispensable Executives in Marketing, Media and Tech” as well as one of Hispanic Executive’s “Top 10 Líderes”, he is a data-driven strategic leader known for his ability to build and scale companies by connecting digital strategies to business outcomes. Honored as one of LinkedIn’s Top Voices in Marketing & Advertising, Mr. Wolfe Pereira is a passionate thought leader on multicultural consumers and how diversity is a growth driver for business.

Prior to Encantos, Mr. Wolfe Pereira served as the Chief Marketing Officer of Datalogix (acquired by Oracle for $1.2 billion), Neustar (acquired by Golden Gate Capital for $3 billion), and Quantcast.  He served as EVP & Managing Director at Publicis Groupe’s media arm Starcom MediaVest where he led a team of 200 people directing Walmart’s $1 billion of advertising spend as well as the largest multicultural media unit investing an additional $800 million for clients including Coca-Cola, Heineken, Honda, Kraft, Microsoft, and P&G.  He has also held executive roles at Univision and Akamai Technologies and began his career in finance doing M&A at The Blackstone Group, Salomon Smith Barney (Citi), and Violy, Byorum & Partners.

A champion of diversity and STEAM education initiatives, Mr. Wolfe Pereira currently serves as a board director of the Latino Community Foundation, Save the Children, and Whalar.

Mr. Wolfe Pereira earned a B.A. from Tufts University, was a Fulbright Scholar, and completed the Greater Boston Executive MBA Program at MIT’s Sloan School of Management and Stanford University’s Directors’ Consortium. A proud Dominican-American born and raised in New York, he now lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.
