Rachel Lindsay
Author, Attorney, Media Personality, Podcaster, and Speaker
Rachel Lindsay is an author, attorney, media personality, podcaster, and speaker. She currently co-hosts The Ringer’s Higher Learning podcast and Morally Corrupt podcast. Prior to her media career, she practiced law at Cooper & Scully, P.C., in Dallas. Rachel is known for making history as the first Black lead in the franchise’s history on the thirteenth season of ABC’s The Bachelorette, and as a contestant on the twenty-first season of ABC’s The Bachelor.
In 2022 Rachel authored a collection of essays titled, Miss Me With That: Hot Takes, Helpful Tidbits, and a Few Hard Truths. Rachel also made her fiction debut in March 2023 with her Novel Real Love.
Rachel previously co-hosted MTV’s Ghosted: Love Gone Missing and co-hosted the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast. Additionally, she worked as a guest host for ESPN’s, First Take, ABC’s The View, The Real, Access Hollywood and the NFL Network. Rachel formerly co-hosted ESPN Radio’s Football Frenzy, GTL, and Game Night and the NFL’s Amazon Prime show, The Drive. She has also hosted her own Bachelor segment on Strahan, Sara, & Keke and was a frequent contributor to The Steve Harvey Show, even hosting his special “Love Elevated”. She has worked as a collegiate basketball sideline reporter for Conference USA and Stadium. Prior to sideline reporting, Rachel worked for the Milwaukee Bucks, Inc., the National Basketball Association, the National Sports Law Institute, Rice University Compliance Department, The University of Texas at Austin’s Media Relations Department, and Capital Sports and Entertainment.
Rachel has made appearances on numerous television networks and contributed to sports television and radio shows, including: CNN, HLN, ABC, ESPN, NBC, LHN, E! Rachel obtained an undergraduate degree at The University of Texas at Austin in sports management, then went on to receive a law degree from Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee with a concentration in sports law. She formerly worked at the prestigious law firm, Cooper & Scully, P.C. in Dallas and represented clients in a broad variety of litigation matters in state and federal court including: local government law, personal injury, employment, sports/entertainment, and insurance defense.
Rachel is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a member of the Advisory Council for the University of Texas at Austin College of Education, an ambassador for the College Football Playoff Foundation, and a supporter of Paw Works and Project Angel Food.
Rachel is an avid sports fan, enjoys music, meditation, dancing, exercising, reading, and spending time with her family and her dogs Copper and Brownie. She currently resides in Los Angeles.
