Alyssa Bernstein is an award-winning communications executive whose career spans leading global media companies, steering reputation strategy and enterprise communications through transformation and growth.

As Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications at TelevisaUnivision, the world’s leading Spanish-language media company, Bernstein is a strategic partner to senior leadership and the architect behind the company’s positioning. She oversees media relations, executive visibility, financial communications, crisis preparedness, and B2B engagement to drive revenue and market leadership.

Since joining TelevisaUnivision in April 2022, Bernstein has played a central role in elevating the company’s cultural and commercial momentum within the global media landscape. She has led communications through high-profile moments — from Upfront presentations, Presidential Town Halls, and streaming launches to executive transitions, earnings, and carriage disputes — and has expanded TelevisaUnivision’s presence at major industry events including CES and Cannes Lions.

Previously, Bernstein led external communications for the advertising division at Paramount during the Viacom-CBS merger, unifying the brand narrative and positioning the business as a platform for marketers to reach younger audiences. She oversaw messaging for the annual Upfront and led campaigns and partnerships that fueled the commercial success of the Super Bowl, MTV VMAs, and Kids’ Choice Awards.

At CBS and ABC News, she helped shape communications for the digital evolution of both networks — elevating the legacy news brands through new platform launches, streaming initiatives, network specials, and election coverage.

Named one of Cynopsis’ Top Women in Media and PRNEWS’ Top Women in Communications, Bernstein holds a B.A. in Communication Arts from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and lives in New York with her family.
