Previously, as President and CEO of Ketchum, a top-five, global communications consultancy, Barri oversaw Ketchum’s offices and affiliates in more than 70 countries, in addition to the firm’s complementary businesses Access Communications, Brandzeichen, Interfuse, and Harrison & Shriftman. Barri is in the business of transforming brands, building reputations for some of the world’s largest companies, including P&G, Wendy’s, 3M and HPE.
Barri is especially passionate about promoting equity and eliminating bias. A frequent speaker on gender parity and unconscious bias, Barri spoke at TEDxEast and the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting. She helped found a women’s leadership network at Ketchum and Omnicom, received the Plank Center’s Milestones in Mentoring Award and is a member of the PR Council’s board of directors.
Her posts have appeared in CNBC, Fortune, the Dallas Morning News and PRWeek, among others. Barri is a graduate of Boston University (M.S.) and Tulane University, and she and her husband enjoy spending time with their two children, listening to live music and seeing beautiful vistas.
