Bridget Thoreson is Director of Marketing & Operations at Ulysses Press, an independent book publisher specializing in trade nonfiction. She has been a member of NYWICI and active on the Young Professionals Committee since 2012, first as marketing manager then as co-chair of the committee from 2016-2018.

Bridget’s previous roles include editorial work in both print and digital, as an acquisitions editor at McGraw-Hill Education, the Institute of Engineering & Technology, and most recently, Senior Acquisitions Editor at Ulysses Press. She holds a BA in Communications/Journalism from Fordham University.

Bridget has been a member of NYWICI and active on the Young Professionals Committee since 2012, first as marketing manager then as co-chair of the committee from 2016-2018. In her spare time, Bridget is an avid reader, learner and dabbler, interested in trying anything from hand lettering to coding to bouldering. She’s passionate about wine and holds a Level 1 certification from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust.
