What inspired you to join NYWICI?

I had just moved to New York and wanted to meet people in my industry, so I attended an NYWICI networking event the first week I arrived. I enjoyed the community, which drew me to join and get involved.

What piece of career advice do you live by?

Always be open to new opportunities because you never know where they will lead you.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

I ice-skated for nine and a half years as a kid. I competed in various competitions, including traveling out of state and skated in several shows.

What’s the best thing you’ve watched/ listened to/ or read recently?

A recent article I read in The Hollywood Reporter, “As Writers Strike, AI Could Covertly Cross the Picket Line,” was a great explanation of how AI is influencing the strike. AI is looming over all creative fields, and this is a look at how one creative industry is thinking about using AI. I watch a lot of TV as an editor and recently watched The Diplomat on Netflix. It’s similar to Homlenad with politics, but not as intense. It’s a fun watch with a powerful, smart woman, Keri Russell, at the center.
