Susanne Mueller is originally from Switzerland, based in New York. Susanne’s professional career started in the sales and marketing department of an airline company. It was there that she had her eyes opened to the world, and she has been working across numerous sectors and geographies ever since.
Susanne holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Development and Leadership from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Marymount Manhattan College, New York. She also has an Executive Coaching Certificate from Columbia University in New York. She has industry experience in government working for the Swiss Mission to the United Nations. She has led the global SAP implementation in the international human resources department for Nestlé, the largest food company in the world and has been involved in many consulting projects.
She has coached high potentials and global leaders in industries such as: pharma, manufacturing, consumer goods, sports apparel, finance, marketing, information technology, advertising in the for profit and non-for-profit sector Susanne is certified in MBTI, Hogan, NBI and IRC. Her coaching style can be described as holistic yet pragmatic, and she believes that healthy mindful thoughts are key ingredients for a healthy and successful life.
In her spare time, she is a running coach and active athlete in triathlons, marathons, yoga, and hiking. She climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro. She has completed the full Ironman distance in Lake Placid and 26 marathon distance races globally. She has traveled to over 50 countries and speaks more than five languages. Susanne has also published two books called ‘Take it from the Ironwoman: Global Business Coaching with Sports Parallels’ in 2017 and ‘Lipstick Leadership – Empowering and Inspiring Women who Dare to Lead’ in 2021. Her next book will come out in September 2024. She has been writing a weekly blog since 2010 and has produced a weekly podcast with guests from around the globe.
