SPOTLIGHT: HILLARY KLEIN

Strategy and Operations, WeWork Public Affairs

A versatile communications and media strategist, Hillary leads strategy and operations for the WeWork Public Affairs team. She joined WeWork in 2016 following more than a decade of experience in the industry’s top firms.

Public Affairs at WeWork spans communications and public affairs, policy, social impact, original content and social media. The growing global team helps to shape storytelling and business strategy.

Hillary previously oversaw business development for the NY consumer marketing practice at Edelman while simultaneously leading media strategy for the key accounts. She helped to translate products and services into meaningful experiences for consumers and compelling stories for media. She has developed and led global teams and projects for clients ranging from eBay to Starbucks to Microsoft. Prior to joining Edelman, Hillary was part of the Brand Marketing group at Burson-Marsteller, representing Barnes & Noble, Old Navy, Sony Electronics and others.

Hillary is a graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. A Pittsburgh native now living in New York City, she regularly roots against the Rangers when the Penguins are in town.
