SPOTLIGHT: KIM LAST

Kim Last is the deputy editor for live events and special coverage at The Wall Street Journal. Most recently, she served as the executive director of conference programming and development at Vox Media where she worked on live event franchises such as Code Conference, and alongside Ezra Klein and the Vox.com team to launch its first live event series called Vox Conversations. Prior to joining Vox Media, Kim was a senior editor at Fast Company where she launched the Fast Company Innovation Festival and FCLA, Fast Company’s live celebration of its Most Creative People in Business. Kim has also worked for Quartz, American Lawyer Media and Forbes. A native New Yorker (born and raised in Queens), she lives in Brooklyn with her husband, and in her free time enjoys traveling to new places and collecting cookbooks. Kim is a two-time NYWICI scholarship recipient.
