SPOTLIGHT: NADYA SABER

Policy Communications Officer, International Monetary Fund (IMF)

Nadya Saber is a Policy Communications Officer at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington, D.C. She is Managing Editor of the IMF’s Spanish-language blog, and also crafts articles and develops content for Asia and Latin America. Additionally, Ms. Saber is the data analytics specialist for her division, providing monthly and yearly reports analyzing and monitoring key performance metrics of the IMF’s communication products.

Prior to her current position, Ms. Saber was a Deputy Project Manager at the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA), where she managed a team of eleven research analysts that supported a portfolio of over 500 export initiative projects in developing and middle-income countries.

Ms. Saber holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), where she focused on Economic and Political Development, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Rutgers University. She also earned an advanced-level language certification from the Arabic Language Institute at the American University in Cairo, Egypt.
